“Fashionable Romance: Wedding Gowns in Film."
More than 15 brides have take up residence at The Biltmore House as part of Biltmore’s newest costume exhibition, “Fashionable Romance: Wedding Gowns in Film.”
The exhibition, which opened mid-February, showcases 40 award-winning wedding gowns and costumes from films set in the years 1645-1935. The Jane Austen romances of “Sense and Sensibility,” “Emma,” and “Pride and Prejudice” are included.
The exhibition continues in the Legacy building at Antler Hill Village, It portion of the exibit focuses on 60 years of Vanderbilt Family wedding fashion. The exhibition, both in the house and at Antler Hill Village, is included in estate admission, and closes on July 4.
